FaunaExplore ("we", "our", "the Platform") is an online platform that connects users with providers of wildlife tours ("Operators"). By using our platform, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Service Scope

• FaunaExplore does not organize or operate tours. We act solely as an intermediary, connecting users with independent Operators.
• Our role is limited to facilitating bookings and processing deposit payments.

Registration and User Information

• Registration is not mandatory to make a booking; however, data provided through the booking form will be stored.
• Tour Operators have a separate account type.
• All information provided must be accurate and complete.
• Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in cancellation of your booking without a deposit refund, and restriction of further access to the Platform.

Payments and Deposits

• At the time of booking, a deposit in the amount defined by the tour operator is required.
• The deposit is transferred to the tour operator to secure accommodations and other services required for the tour. The remaining balance is paid according to the next applicable payment deadline defined in the tour's cancellation and payment policy.
• All prices are shown in US Dollars (USD).

Cancellations and Refunds

• Each Operator sets a deadline before the tour start date after which the deposit is non-refundable.
• If a user cancels after this deadline, the deposit is transferred to the Operator.
• If a user cancels before this deadline, the deposit is refunded to the user, minus the 2.9% + 30¢ Stripe transaction fee.
• In the event that a tour operator cancels a tour, the user is entitled to a 100% refund of all amounts paid. Alternatively, upon the user's request, FaunaExplore may assist in arranging a comparable alternative tour.

Disclaimer of Liability

• We're not the tour operator - but we're here for you 24/7 if anything unexpected happens.
• All tour descriptions and details are provided by the tour operators. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, itineraries and tour details may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, safety considerations, or other factors beyond control. Any such changes will be communicated and handled in coordination with the traveler.

Reviews and Photos

• Users may post reviews and upload photos related to their tour experience.
• FaunaExplore will not use these materials for marketing purposes without the user's explicit consent.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates laws, intellectual property rights, or reasonable content standards.

Intellectual Property

• All text, design, and functionalities on the platform are the property of FaunaExplore.
• Copying, reproducing, or redistributing platform content without written permission is strictly prohibited.

Changes to Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
• Continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
• For users from countries that require different legal provisions under mandatory local laws, such local laws will take precedence to the extent required.
