Days are structured around meaningful encounters with nature, morning and afternoon game drives, walking safaris, and educational discussions, while evenings are spent around the campfire under the African night sky. Guests stay at Kwapa Camp, a comfortable tented camp designed to keep you close to the wild without sacrificing essential comforts. Arrive at Maun International Airport, where you will meet your guide at The Duck Café. From here, enjoy a scenic 2-hour transfer by open safari vehicle into a private concession of the Okavango Delta. Upon arrival at Kwapa Camp, settle into your Meru-style tent and take in your first impressions of the surrounding wilderness. In the evening, gather for dinner and a relaxed introduction to the days ahead.

I’ve spent the past 20+ years guiding across Southern Africa—from Kruger and Botswana to remote wilderness areas—helping people experience the bush in a way that feels real, not rushed or staged. My focus is on walking safaris and truly immersive experiences. I’ll show you how to read tracks, understand animal behavior, and notice the small details most people miss. For me, it’s not just about what you see, but how you experience it. Over the years, I’ve also trained many of the next generation of field guides and conservationists, which means I care deeply about doing things the right way, safely, ethically, and with respect for the environment.
