Begin the day with breakfast and an introductory briefing at Las Oncas Basecamp (La Cotinga Biological Station) before departing by vehicle to the expedition site. Trek through the rainforest to a camera trap location, where you'll help review the video footage collected by the monitoring network. Depending on the conservation needs of the area, the fieldwork may also include reforestation activities within the Las Oncas Conservation Reserve. After a field snack, return to basecamp for a debrief and analysis of the footage before dinner.
